A video producer for the racing community is where I started. Discovered ChaseCam when I needed an on-board camera system. Purchased one of their first PDR100 recorders and I was hooked. Passion for the opportunity to capture video from any moving source, I have always stretched the limits. My cameras have been in all types of race cars, from the Milwaukee Mile to NASCAR's Tony Stewart at a local track. Air shows, snocross and the demo derby have proven we can be anywhere through video.
Working for a local city and observing close calls with our fire trucks while responding to incidents is what has led me to bringing ChaseCam to the emergency vehicle market. I believe we can protect our department members with this safety tool. Traveling at a high rate of speed in a heavy vehicle through our streets these days, we can only hope for all drivers to pay attention. Once at the scene, we do what it takes. Having these actions recorded is a great source for future training.
